We met with our playgroup friends to take a walk around Lake Pine. Andrew and I enjoy that trail. It is a paved 2-mile loop and the scenery is nice. In the morning there is often a row of turtles on a particular log, and that day was no exception!

Photographic proof - Greg isn't happy all of the time
(just most of the time!) |
In the late afternoon, I glanced up in the trees behind our house and noticed a heron perched there. (It's not every day that I take pictures of two herons!) Mr. or Mrs. Heron is not a welcomed sight in our yard - they like to eat the fish in our pond. We have resorted to leaving a net on the pond year-round, so luckily there was no buffet for the heron that day.

Do you see something in the tree? Let's zoom in... |

"Hi, I'm here to eat all of your fish. Take off the net, please." |
This week we were able to catch the Gregory in his natural state in the weekly picture - a toy in each hand!
