May 30 was Memorial Day. We enjoyed our bonus weekend day! Andrew stained the deck and fertilized the backyard.

We returned to Lowe's to purchase the grill and dishwasher. I was able to do some price match magic and got both items for a better price. My Opa would be proud!

On that Sunday we noticed that Greg has another tooth coming in. #7 is the second front bottom left.

A big chunk of the day for me was spent washing dog laundry, grooming Max, and bathing all three dogs. I shaved Max at home for the first time. Although it was a worthwhile experiment, I don't think I'll do it again. You can't beat professional clippers!

We did recon at Lowe's on grills and dishwashers. The latter has been failing us, so it's time to replace it.

No pictures from that day. Sorry!

That Friday we joined Andrew and a friend at Sarah's Empanadas for lunch. On the way there, the sky was black and looking nasty. By the time we got to Durham it was pouring. The rest of the afternoon was filled with stormy weather. The rain was very welcomed!

PS - Greg tried beans and rice for the first time at Sarah's. He loved it!

I ate my lunch that Thursday sitting on a video chair in the family room. As I opened up my yogurt, Greg came crawling over to check it out. I gave him a spoonful. He approved. Now we share my yogurt every time. He loves it!

Wearing his "Little Helper" pajamas again:
"Mama, let's make some muffins!"
"And some cookies and pizza!"

Late night, Scout?
(This was not posed!)

We joined our playgroup friends at Goodberry's. It was a very hot afternoon!
Playing under the bench in the shade
"Hi!"
Greg's friend climbed into her stroller!

Greg enjoyed his first real meal - nothing pureed! He had meatloaf, cornbread, and mixed veggies. He was very excited and bounced his legs the whole time.
No puree in sight!

Happy anniversary! Andrew and I have been happily married for 8 years!
Look! It's Elise in a dress and Andrew in a suit!
We generally don't make a big deal out of our anniversary, including this year. The one exception was our five-year anniversary trip to national parks out west. It. Was. Awesome.

Greg tried cornbread. It was a hit!
"This stuff crumbles!"
"There, I got a bite."
"Delicious!"
