Bottle-feeding, Bond Park, tooth #4, pancakes

Yesterday (Sunday) was another productive day around the Freed household. We also got outside to enjoy the fantastic weather that we are having here!

The big news of the day - Greg drank from a bottle! He had 2.5 ounces of breastmilk in the morning, then 7.5 ounces in the afternoon. He was happy to drink from a bottle when he was younger, but after a while it became easier and faster to nurse him exclusively. Fast forward a month or so and Greg refused to drink from a bottle one evening while I was out skating.

We would try off and on to give him a bottle again because his refusal meant I had to be there for every feeding (every three hours). Because nursing was easier, the bottle-feeding was never at the top of my to-do list until, of course, I needed him to be able to take a bottle. We have been giving him water in a bottle after solid food meals for a while, but to no avail. Yesterday Andrew offered a bottle of the liquid gold (breastmilk) and after a few minutes of struggling, Greg figured out what to do. Yay!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk with the dogs at Bond Park. It is a Town of Cary park that is five minutes from our house. We discovered it a few months after adopting Hank and Scout and it's been one of our favorite places to visit ever since.
Big dog brigade!

Greg continues on his crawling crusade. Ever so close! Tooth #4 is making its way through!
"Mom and Dad, stop taking pictures of my teeth!"

We had our usual weekend breakfast of pancakes and bacon. All of the humans and dogs love the tradition! My parents got me a pancake pen for Christmas and I have been enjoying creating "works of art." Here are this week's masterpieces:
