Mom headed home to West Virginia, but we enjoyed our time with her in the morning before she left.

We have a case of Gatorade G2 by the back door because I use it to help prop open the door sometimes. Gregory figured out that it is fun to take out all of the bottles and scatter them on the floor.
"Oh, hi!"
"Mom and Dad drink this stuff, so I'll give it a try!"
"See, these bottles are easier to get to if you take them out of the packaging..."

After all of that exertion, the boy needed to recharge.
"I'd really prefer some sweet potatoes, but I guess egg yolk and cereal will have to do."

Greg woke up with a bump on his forehead. At first I thought that he had hit it on his crib overnight. Upon closer examination, we figured out that it was a bug bite! Poor buddy!
Nearly impossible to take a closeup picture on a moving target

Max is the friendliest dog on the planet. We all have bad dreams though, and Max is no exception! Sometimes we'll observe snarling and teeth baring. I always wonder what he is dreaming about!

Some days, you're just too busy running around to stop and take pictures. Apparently our May Day (first of May) was like that!

"Hi Gran! I'm reading my book. Or should I say it's reading to me!"

Mom was still visiting, so we treated ourselves to a Brig's breakfast. After first nap, we all went to the local garden store. We picked up some tomato plants and pond plants. Mom and I did some more errands in the afternoon. I think we went for a stroll with the dogs in the evening...

It was time for Greg and my grand adventure to come to a close. We said our farewells to Dad/Opa and made the journey back to North Carolina with Mom. Greg only slept a total of 75 minutes on the way home due to 1) having to stop and ask a police officer for directions to avoid an accident, and 2) a bumpy road in a construction zone.
"Packing" - aka unpacking
"See you next time, Opa!"
"Peekaboo!"
"Rules are for babies, Gran."
"Take that, cow book!"

His facial expressions are so funny when we go through tunnels:
Amazement!
Horror!
Tension!

A rare sighting
We arrived home safely and went out to dinner at Five Guys with Andrew.

We woke up Friday morning to join the millions of others watching the royal wedding coverage. Yay for DVR so we didn't have to wake up early! Greg was not impressed with the event, so I spent a lot of time chasing him around.
"Those cars are really shiny, Gran!"
Watching the royal wedding with a ~11 month old was an adventure!
Greg decided that reorganizing magazines was more fun than watching the wedding coverage
Smile!

After his first nap and the wedding viewing was complete, Greg explored the house.

Then it was time for a bath!

We spent one more morning in Pennsylvania. Greg had some "work" to do in my Grandma's kitchen.
"Great, we need to do some more reorganizing in these cupboards."
"Ah, metally thingies..."
"See, they're much more useful out here!"
"But Mama, I want to check out this cupboard too!"

On the way out of town, we stopped to visit Gene, a family friend. Then it was back to West Virginia!

More fun with family in Pennsylvania!
One baby, big mess!
"I love you, Great."
Gregzilla attacks!
"I'm reorganizing Great's cupboard, she'll be so happy!"

We went to Natili's North again for dinner. The food is so delicious and we always have a good time there. My Aunt Sallie joined us.
Greg was mesmerized by Aunt Sallie's chin rub

After dinner we returned to Grandma's house and spent more time with my Aunt Sallie.
