A big reason why we traveled when we did and finished the trip with Mom visiting in NC was so Andrew and I could attend the Major League Gaming event in Raleigh. We are big fans of the video game series Halo (currently Halo: Reach). I play almost every night! MLG is the largest professional tournament for Halo and a few other games. It was a lot of fun (albeit butt-numbing) to watch pro teams square off on the big screens for the whole weekend! Thank you to my mom for taking care of Greg!

Hurricane Irene crashed into the NC coast, but fortunately the Raleigh area only experienced minor wind and rain from it.

Who needs toys when there are dog bowls to play with?
Checking out Hurricane Irene
"Look what I can do!"
"This is the best place to eat a banana!"
"Don't you agree, Gran?"
(This table has been relocated so he can't climb on it)
"Let's learn the alphabet, Gran."
Peanut butter + jelly + hair
= New hair style!
