That Tuesday we left our backpacks at our campsite for a morning hike to the peak of Mount Pleasant. There were two beautiful overlooks, which means more opportunities for my beloved panoramics! We picked up our packs and headed back to Hog Camp Gap to spend the night and resupply. It was a very laid back evening and we all enjoyed the break. There is even a swing just off the Appalachian Trail.

Clouds in the setting sun. Storms passed to our north and south.
We had a little rain overnight, but all was fairly dry by morning.

The feet are starting to look a little beat up, mainly due to gnat bites.
I wore my Keen sandals at resupply. Oops.

Back on the home front:
"Good morning, Gran!"

Typical scene - Greg investigating an item and a dog wants inside/outside
It's tough to get all four of them in a picture!
"I'll hang out in your crate since you're not using it, Hank."
"That was a great nap!"
(Note the accumulated gnawing marks on the crib)
"What to read now..."
"I'll pick a good bedtime story, Gran."
