Sleeping baby, construction, Cafe Carolina, Hank's dental, dogs' hangout

It's currently 7:58 PM and Greg is asleep. He has been asleep since ~4:45 PM. (And yes, we did check, he is breathing!) There is an ongoing debate in my mind. One side is saying, "Never wake a sleeping baby." Good words to live by indeed! The other side is thinking, "If he sleeps all evening, then when is he going to wake up in the morning?" Plus he has not had his dinner and he's still in his short-sleeve shirt. And no socks! Gasp!

Part of the reason that his sleep schedule is messed up is due to the construction that is going on up the hill from us. There was a large piece of machinery (an "excavator" [thanks Google]) probably 200-300 yards from the house making a lot of noise today. I think it woke Greg up from both of his earlier naps. At least Max wasn't barking at it like he did the first time he saw it through the woods.

We met up with the playgroup gang at Cafe Carolina for lunch today. The food was delicious and it was nice to chat with everyone. One of our birth class comrades has recently joined the group. We saw each other for the first time today with our babies on the outside of our bellies!

Hank went to get his teeth cleaned today. The procedure went well and he's happy to be back home, even though his "sister" Scout was being a pest to him upon his return.

All three dogs are enjoying the nice weather. I open up the back door so they can hang out on the deck. Hank will often sit out on his towel until he is so hot that he starts panting. He'll come in the house to cool off for a few minutes, then immediately return to his post on the deck.

It's 8:26 PM and Greg is still sleeping. I'll let you know how everything goes tomorrow...
