Nine month pictures, playgroup at the library, sitting in the crib, rug

Whew, the nine month pictures are done! And they turned out great! We had another enjoyable experience at Portrait Innovations. I always get a little stressed out about the whole process - picking out the outfit(s), making sure his hair looks good, etc. At least I don't have to worry about Greg smiling. He is such a happy boy! He still had some scratches on his face, but they were hardly noticeable. (Below are the "raw" images - they crop them before printing.) These were my favorites:

We got together with the playgroup gang at a library today. There was a room specifically for story time and we had the whole place to ourselves. There were several crawlers and Greg was able to debut his skills to the group. We have a happy bunch of babies!

The name of the game is steal the other babies' toys

Greg was never able to calm himself and go to sleep for his third nap after we got home from playgroup. Andrew went in to settle him and Greg was sitting up in his crib. Then I went later to retrieve him (wave the nap white flag) and he was sitting up again. He has definitely figured out that trick!

I have been debating on and off for months on whether or not to hang up a rug on Greg's wall. I'll spare you the debate and say that we hung it up tonight. We think it looks great! This wall cooperated much better than the opposing one for Greg's quilt. There were actually wall studs where the stud finder said they were!

We love it when Daddy can work from home!

"Hey Max, can you let me out? Please?"
